Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Olivitis UAB, a company registered in Lithuania (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of the MyDossier platform (“the Service”).

By creating an account, clicking “I agree”, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

MyDossier is an automated job application tool that uses artificial intelligence to tailor your resume and cover letter to match individual job listings. The Service is currently offered in beta. Features may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your country of residence.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You must promptly notify us at info@mydossier.lt of any unauthorised access or suspected compromise of your account.
• One account per person; account sharing is not permitted.
• All information you provide must be accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

You retain full ownership of all resumes, cover letters, and other content you upload to the Service (“User Content”).

By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content for marketing, do not share it with third parties beyond those described in our Privacy Policy, and do not allow it to be used to train AI models.

You warrant that you have the legal right to upload and process any content you submit — for example, that the resume you upload is your own.

This license terminates automatically when you delete the content or your account.

As a user of the Service, you agree to:

• Upload only your own resume and cover letter documents
• Provide accurate information when creating your account and searches
• Not use the Service to generate application materials on behalf of others for commercial purposes

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service or its outputs
• Submit malicious files or attempt to compromise the platform
• Upload content that infringes any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Use the Service in violation of applicable employment, data protection, or other laws
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service except through any official API we provide

The Service uses a credit-based payment model. Credits are purchased in advance via Stripe. Each tailored resume costs €0.15 in credits. A one-time €0.50 service fee applies per top-up transaction.

Express acknowledgement of immediate performance. By purchasing credits and confirming your top-up, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU as soon as your first credit is processed. Your purchase confirmation includes this acknowledgement and is recorded as your express consent.

No refunds. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, whether or not the credits have been used.

Credit expiry. Credits remain valid for 12 months from your last account activity (any login or use of the Service resets this period). If your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months, any remaining credits expire and are forfeited. We will email you at least 30 days before expiry so you have a chance to use them.

Closed-loop credits. Credits are usable only within MyDossier to tailor resumes and cover letters. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be sold, gifted, or redeemed for cash.

Card details are processed entirely by Stripe and are never stored on MyDossier servers.

By uploading your resume and starting a search, you consent to your resume content and the provided job descriptions being processed by a third-party AI service provider for the purpose of generating tailored resume versions.

You own the AI output. You retain ownership of all AI-generated resume and cover letter modifications produced for you. MyDossier claims no rights to your tailored documents.

MyDossier does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or fitness of AI-generated modifications. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it in a job application.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of material removals through email or in-app notifications.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption. Maintenance windows, outages, third-party provider issues, and other technical events may affect availability. We are not liable for any loss, missed opportunity, or damage resulting from Service unavailability.

The Service — including all software, source code, design, branding, copy, documentation, and the MyDossier name and logo — is owned by Olivitis UAB and protected by the intellectual property laws of Lithuania, the European Union, and applicable international treaties.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended personal purpose, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Service itself without our prior written consent.

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood both documents.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We make no guarantee that use of the Service will result in job interviews, job offers, or any other employment outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to MyDossier in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer-protection rights.

You agree to indemnify and hold Olivitis UAB, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• your breach of these Terms
• your misuse of the Service
• content you upload that infringes any third party’s rights — for example, uploading another person’s resume
• your violation of any applicable law, including employment and data-protection law

This obligation does not apply to claims that arise from our own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

You may delete your account at any time via your account settings or by submitting a Data Request. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will delete your personal data on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the intellectual property, payment, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law clauses — will continue to apply after termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Informal resolution first. Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us at info@mydossier.lt and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We commit to responding within 30 days.

Courts. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought before the competent courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.

EU consumers. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, including your right to bring a claim in your local courts or to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Olivitis UAB regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

Assignment. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, with reasonable notice to you. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Electronic communications.By using the Service, you consent to receive notices, agreements, and other communications from us electronically (by email and in-app). You agree that electronic acceptance — for example, clicking “I agree” or creating an account — has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

Changes to these Terms.We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
